Dr Michael Sughrue
Dr Sughrue is an internationally acclaimed Brain surgeon and recognized authority in connectomics and the use of AI to better diagnose and treat brain diseases including mental illnesses. He attended medical school at Columbia University in New York, and he completed his neurosurgery training at the University of California at San Francisco. He served as Director of the Brain Tumor center at the University of Oklahoma for 7 years, and has performed over 3000 brain surgeries. He has authored over 300 peer reviewed scientific publications, and 5 textbooks, and has been featured in numerous media outlets including People and 60 Minutes Australia for his pioneering work with complex brain diseases.
In 2020, he founded Omniscient Neurotechnology, an artificial intelligence startup company aimed at providing revolutionary AI based tools for visualizing and treating brain diseases and mental illnesses. His inventions are approved by FDA and the regulatory bodies of 20 countries, and have been used to treat over 5000 patients to date at over 100 medical centers around the world.
